ELIGIBILITY


  • Multidisciplinary teams or legal entities whose corporate objectives are in line with the objective of the competition from across India and the globe, led by a team leader with a degree in landscape architecture, urban design, architecture or engineering related to the objective of the competition, and possessing documented experience in landscaping projects, are eligible to participate in the competition.

  • The multidisciplinary team shall include experts in any of the professional, scientific, technical or artistic fields associated with landscape development and the urban context.

  • Meeting the competitor’s eligibility criteria may call for collaborative efforts .Such synergies are welcome with the following requirements:

    • The teams to be registered or accredited by a formal registration or accreditation body in the entrant’s country of origin; or

    • Where registration and accreditation is not available in a particular jurisdiction, the entrant shall be a member of the relevant professional institute in their country of origin.

    • All entrants are required to provide evidence of relevant professional registration, accreditation or membership in the Team Composition Statement.

  • Details of any such arrangements must be clearly explained at the outset by submission of a Memorandum of Understanding endorsed by all team members.

  • As a prerequisite, each team must show proven expertise in relevant architecture, engineering, landscape architecture and urban design.
    Through the Self-Declaration at Stage-I, competitors must state their team composition meets the Authority’s minimum prequalification criteria.

  • The team composition for each entry must have:

    • At least one member of the team must be from the discipline of landscape architecture /architecture/ urban design having an average annual turnover of US $3, 00,000 (INR 2,00,32,500.00 approx.*) for the past three years.

    • The team leader having a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in designing parks and public places.

    • A landscape architect with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in designing public parks /places.

    • An environmental scientist/ horticulture expert with a minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in the context of urban project development.

    • An artist or sculptor with a minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience of urban space development.

    • All Infrastructure experts/ consultants - team comprising of structural, civil, Mechanical Electrical and plumbing (MEP), (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), cost surveyors, green building experts having minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in landscape /urban project development.

  • All overseas competitors must have an Indian partner duly registered and certified.

Note:

A team member could be a single entity as stated in the eligibility criteria or one or more entities entering a memorandum of understanding with one or more team members to meet the stated requirements. Any collaboration must be supported by a scanned copy of MoU/s duly signed by all team members and uploaded as part of submissions. A team once formed cannot be changed without prior permission of the Authority.

Any competitor that does not meet these criterion will not be eligible to take part.

Eligible competitors will also need to provide additional information and content, including, but not restricted to:

  • Details about the organization and its team, as submitted in the self-declaration

  • Key personnel that are being put forward for the project, outlining

    • Which organization in the team they work for

    • Their envisaged role on the project

The CVs of the team leader ,landscape architect , the environmental scientist, horticulture experts, artists or sculptor and infrastructure experts Indian partner and any other team members / other professionals needs to be provided.
