Co-operative Housing

DDA allots land to Cooperative Group Housing Societies registered under the Delhi Coop.Act-1972 Allotment of land to- 116 societies has been made so far. Land is allotted to Group Housing Societies strictly as per seniority fixed by Registrar, Coop. Societies and orders of the High Court of Delhi. Societies up to seniority of 1430 have been allotted land so far. However, societies even prior to this seniority number, if recommended by Registrar (Co-op. Societies) and not offered land by DDA earlier are allotted land as per their original seniority.

In its attempt to promote Group Housing Scheme more vigorously DDA has a plan to take up allotment of land to Group Housing Societies to clear the backlog. Recently 97 societies have been asked to give their four preferences for allotment of land to them in Dwarka, Rohini, Dhirpur and Narela.
