Subject: Conversion of lease hold tenure of land in the
free hold in Delhi - modifications in the scheme..."
- Misuse and unauthorised construction : The
conversion of all leased properties irrespective of any building violation
or use violation will be allowed. The action for unauthorised construction
or misuse of the building will be taken care of by the DDA/MCD under
their relevant law/regulations. In such cases where the unauthorised
construction or misuse stands reported on record, a letter may simultaneously
be sent to the Enforcement Branch of the DDA in case of misuse and to
the Building Department of DDA or MCD, if the services of the area stand
transferred for unauthorised construction/violation of building bye-laws.
- Refund of conversion fee: In respect of
pending applications, where conveyance deeds are yet to be executed/registered,
refund in respect of conversion fee paid, if any, shall be allowed..."
